Dear Regina,

Just wanted you to know we are thinking about you and sending best wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year! It has been a challenging year for most of us but we, by God’s grace and love, have overcome the hurdles that we have faced. “Proudy” and “Marilyn” are doing extremely well and are the happiest two dogs I have ever had the pleasure of sharing a life with. They run and play all the time and love getting treats every time they go outside to potty. To say they are spoiled would be an understatement. They also love to travel and love taking trips with us. When I start packing and place the luggage on the floor, they jump in because they know we are headed somewhere. They are such a joy and we are so blessed they are a part of our lives. If only all people and dogs could be loved so much! I can’t thank you enough!

Takara and I could not let Christmas go by without wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
 

She will be 11 months old the 29th of this month...and each day is filled with more joy than you can imagine. Every where we go we are stopped and told what a beautiful girl she is and how they have never seen a Shih Tzu with such beautiful red coloring and such a beautiful white. She is loved by everyone who sees her and she is the most amazingly well behaved little girl. You would have been so proud of her the first time we put her on a leash...she raised her head and pranced like she was the winner of some great show. I know all of this is due to the great job you do of breeding your girls and boys...and believe me it shows in every thing she does. She takes great pride in each step. Takara is now weighing near 11lbs and is the picture of health. She loves to play with her toys and will keep you playing for hours...and believe it or not she know which toy she wants in any given period. We are just working on getting her to put them back in her toy box as well as she takes them out.
Well we will keep in touch and I still view your site often to she how you are doing.
You not only found a "Forever Home' for Takara....but you found two parent who are "Forever Greatful" for the love and care you put into this wonderful breed.

Just wanted to update you on Harley he is doing great getting to be round-he is up to 2 lbs. 4 ozs., the vet said he has adjusted very well and he has!!
He is such a joy to all of us, but he is more of a mommas boy than anyone else's, he is so funny we love him to bits. He gets a bath every Sunday whether he wants one or not. The other day him and Samson (Sarahs yorkie), well her room is upstairs above our garage and she goes up from in the house it is the bonus room. Well she came to me with Harley just laughing. Samson had went upstairs and he was taking Harley and Sarah said she heard something and looked down the steps and here Samson would take a step and than he would turn around and ...(continued to right)

look to make sure Harley would make his step and he did it the whole way up 12 steps and Sarah laughed she said he worked so hard that she let him stay up there in her room with Samson for awhile to play, she said it was so cute.
But anyhow all is fantastic here!!! I had knee surgery last night

Good morning, Regina,

I hope that your Thanksgiving was wonderful. I am blessed to be able to spend it with my kids and their families...and this year we have two new babies added: my Grandson, Elijah and my own baby, JellyBean!

I will keep this email with your suggested new food for when I need to buy more food for Jelly.

She is doing well. She goes into her gated area by herself to drink and eat, and many times to pee & poop!
Yesterday, the house was filled so she was quite content to be in her safe place. Of course, everyone held her and ooooohhhed and aaaaaaahhhed about how tiny and cute she is, but more because of how sweet and kissy she is. You have done a wonderful job socializing her, and I thank you for that again.
I can promise you that we will all give her lots of love for all of her life.

I hope you fared the storms Friday night. Sorry I haven’t been in touch sooner. I didn’t work yesterday or even turn on my computer. I’ll be in trouble if I don’t make significant progress on some contracts today.

Sweetie is doing great. She’s such a good puppy. I’ve decided to name her Joie, pronounced “joey” (like Joie Chen, the former CNN news anchor).

She was very tired on Friday after going to the office, the vet & the pet store. One little girl at the pet store wouldn’t stop hugging her. By last night, the shyness had worn off & she was chasing the cat around.

I’m charging my camera battery now & will send photos soon.

Just a note to let you know little Bennie is doing great. He is such a good boy! I just love him to pieces.
Sometimes I wish I had another one to keep him company! I am working with him on his potty training. It was so cold here for the first month or so I didn't want to take him outside. Now it is getting better and he just loves to go outside and jump around in the yard like a bunny rabbit. He has made friends with all the neighbors here in the complex and they call him the "new kid on the block". Everyone raves about how cute he is! And they all want one just like him. He comes when he is called and he stops what he is doing when I say no ( I do that when he chewing something he isn't supposed to!) and he seems very content to play with his toys and take little naps.

Thanks for calling last night. It was sweet of you to check on Corky. As I told you, we're making progress. We're trying to give Rusty all his "usual" loving so he doesn't get jealous and then just control the situation until he gets used to having a frisky puppy around. Corky has totally captured all of our hearts and he seems VERY HAPPY and at home here with us. :-)

I was typing a message to you with Jovi in my lap and think I got distracted...it disappeared (the message, not Jovi). I hope I am not duplicating. Anyway, Jovi is doing well. He is adjusting better than I hoped. He doesn't seem to miss his brothers and sisters as much as I thought he would...maybe the blanket helps. I have learned that when he wants to go to sleep he wants to be left alone... I knew he wanted something on the ride home but didn't know what. I laid him on a pad on the floorboard, immediately he went to sleep and slept most of the way home. He took several naps in his crate [ playpen]) yesterday and we decided to put it in our bedroom. He slept in it until 6:30-7:00 a.m. He is eating well. He prefers to use the bathroom outside rather on his pad...I keep trying though. We are trying to keep things as close to what he was used to as possible and he seems very content. He is without a doubt the sweetest, most adorable, loving puppy in all the world...Curtis says I have already spoiled him...I think he is right. I will keep you posted. Joan

I wanted you to see how China is doing at our house. She has her own bed, and it was ready when we got home. You can't tell it, but on the inside of her bed is a Nutria pillow (that's something like mink) that Bert made for her several weeks ago. but she appears to really like the sheepskin in front of her bed. This is her downstairs bed. She has two other beds, and then of course, there's our bed. The choice is all hers. Anyway, here's a couple of pictures of her so you can see how very much we love her. Nemo is the perfect puppy, he slept the whole way home, when we got home we put a pee pad in the driveway and he pee'd. We put him in his playpen, so we could get his dinner ready, and he wined just a little. He ate and drank a little. We took him out of the playpen for a little snuggle time and then back in the playpen in a cushy little bed, with the blanket that you had and the toy we brought, and he slept for quite awhile. When he woke up, I took him out back and put him on the same pee pad and he pee'd again (what a good little pup). He played in his playpen for awhile with a nylabone binkie (like a pacifier) and a flexible nylabone. I put his cushy bed in his crate with his same blanket and toy and he didn't even whimper, he went right to sleep. He really likes to sleep on his back and with his head propped up when he sleeps on his stomach.

Bailey is taking to Nemo alot better than I thought, actually he seems a little scared of Nemo. So far so good. Nemo is soooooo beautiful and has the greatest personality, we love him sooooooo much already. You can be assured that he will have the best of everything without spoiling him in a bad way. My mom doesn't know it yet, but one day in the not to distant future, I want to adopt another one of your beautiful puppies. I know she'll get the Shih Tzu fever after a few days with Nemo.

I thought you might like to see a current picture of Rusty. He is such a wonderful dog and we love him dearly. Ross recently drove to Colorado and back with Rusty as his trusty companion. Chelse and I flew out for a week since we were limited by her school's fall break. Rusty is a great traveler and Ross loved having him along - although he slept most of the time and reminded Ross of me on a road trip. :-) I found that I really missed Rusty while he was gone - and he wasn't here to welcome me home from work everyday.

Abby will be fourteen weeks old on Saturday--now weighs six
pounds plus. Loves to run on the fairway and chase tennis balls--faster than a gazelle, very athletic. We plan to put her into the agility training program when she is six months old. Meanwhile she needs to complete puppy kindergarten and subsequently the "family dog" training program. I'll keep you updated.

Katlyn finally decided on the name "Roxie" for our little girl. It suits
her playful personality.
She did such a great job on the long ride back to Tennessee. We put a
little pad down for her in the floor, but she never had to use it at all.
We stopped often, and she would always potty outside. We have been so
surprised how well she has done going outside to potty since we have been
home too. I was worried about how she would handle being away from you and her family there, but she has settled right in with us. We bought one of
the water bottles to go on her kennel like you had and unless she gets up to
take a drink at night, we never hear a peep out of her. We are just loving
Roxie to death. I am attaching a couple of pictures we have taken -- I am
still trying to get a good one with her in action running around with her
pacifier in her mouth. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Just wanted ALL of you to know that Irish is doing great !!! As you well know, he is "Mr. Personality Plus" !!!! He slept a lot of the way home, but somewhere around Meridian, woke up and was ready to ride up front for a while and check out all of the sights and sounds he had been hearing. The first thing he fell in love with was 18-wheelers! I had my seat kicked back, about halfway down to the back seat, so he crawled right up on my chest and shoulder, so he could get up high enough to see EVERYTHING, ... he didn't want to miss anything. Cars were okay, ... but he loved big trucks!  Every time we'd pass an 18-wheeler, he'd start watching it from the back corner of the truck, ... all the way up to the cab. Once we'd passed it, he'd turn around and watch it out the side window and then the rear window!!!! He had an absolute blast, and was such a fun and well-mannered puppy to travel with. Of course, when there weren't any trucks around, he'd spend his spare time trying to suck on my ears. (Thank you very much to which ever one of you taught him that little trick, ... LOL, ... and if he wasn't doing that, he was trying to climb up on my head for a better view, ... Ha!

Oh, ... and I'm sure I don't need to tell you how comfortable he is in a bed, or on a couch or ottoman, taking his little naps. He much prefers any of them to his play-pen (like the one he had at home). He'll let you know in a heartbeat that the play-pen is not his first choice for sleeping accommodations. He makes EVERY step Maggie does, and they are definitely "in love with one another." Maggie is a lot like you. I wasn't kidding when I told you that I've heard all of her friends say, at one time or another, that when they come back in their next life, ... they want to come back as Maggie's dog, ... and they aren't kidding either. We went to the vet today, and like you assured me, ... he passed with flying colors. So, ... I guess that means Irish is gonna become a Louisiana resident, and you're not going to be getting him back (like there was ever a possibility, .. LOL) His teeth are beginning to come in REALLY GOOD this week. The bottom ones are coming in first and the top ones aren't far behind. I, personally, look like I've been in a "box cutter" fight, and everybody had a box cutter but me !!! He loves to play hard, ... and he loves to sneak up on you when you aren't looking, and pounce on you. Oh, and Lord, ... don't let him think you're trying to work, and you aren't giving him his 150% of attention, ... because he'll grab your pants leg, and start backing up and shaking his head (all at the same time) until you stop what you're doing, and pick him up. I've tried to explain to him that it's income tax season, ... but he's told me, in no uncertain terms, that "Irish Season" comes before "IRS Season" in the dictionary, ... so we can just tell our clients that they'll have to wait until play time is over !!!!
Have no fear, ... he's definitely not being mistreated, and definitely running both the house and the office! I'll be sending pictures, ... as soon as I get him to stand still long enough to take one!

I just can't tell you how happy we are with Tank. My mother lives 45mins. or more from us and she called last week mid-day to say she was going by to see "her" baby. The vet said he was perfect, all of his shots went well and he is up to 6.25lbs. He is already going to the door to go potty. We still have accidents but that's usually because we're not paying attention. He still sleeps in the bed with us and goes out before bed, and once before we get up. The groomers love him too! He still has his lion and he hasn't chewed-up anything other than toys and raw hides. This surprised me just because has still has so many teeth coming in. He's just wonderful and we would delighted to be posted on your new board.

I just wanted to be in touch and send you some current photos of Treasure so you can see how much he's grown.
We had his annual check up last Friday and the vet says that he is perfect - even though he did not care too much for all the needles : ) Treasure turned 2 yrs old this past August and currently weighs 13.8 lbs (he has only put on .8 lbs since his last exam in 11/05) and he is absolutely spoiled perfectly rotten : )
The funniest thing about Treasure is he sucks his back left paw as he falls asleep every single night. It is terribly cute! The vet says that the paw looks fine - just some saliva staining. She seems to think that maybe it's his security blanket, just like sucking ones thumb.

He is in puppy preschool and has become the teacher's pet. There is another Shih Tzu in the class. He is 2 months older and only 5 pounds. I have to say that Steve is a much nicer looking dog. I am very lucky to have found such a well bred puppy. He gets along really well with my German Shepherds. I think that he has put them back into their puppyhood. The worst thing that has happened to him was Cory peed on him. Steve is not a ball of fire and he sometimes does not get out of the target range fast enough. I take him to a nursing home each week and I cannot tell you how much joy he gives the people there. They look forward to seeing him each week.

Once again I want to say how much we really enjoy him. He was very easy to crate train and now sleeps through the night. You were right, they really are people dogs and Steve is very affectionate and loves to be cuddled. I did not know how much I would enjoy a lapdog.

Thought I would give up an update on Thelma Lou. The whole house revolves around Thelma Lou. She is eating like a little pig! We just keep her bowl full of the soaked food and a little can food. My husband slept on the sofa last night with Thelma Lou he could not stand to put her in her crate. So we have surrounded the small area around the sofa and the t.v. and Thelma Lou rules the entire area. It looks like Romper Room between pee pads and toys on the floor! She is a lot more playfull today and is doing great!! Everyone is in love with "Thelma Lou" We carried her to the bank today and showed her off!!

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas! I thought you might enjoy some recent pictures. Izzy continues to just be the sweetest little girl. We had our son Carter in October and she is just wonderful with him. She thinks he is her baby too. She still gets her hair done everyday by mom....it is "our time". Izzy just makes everyday brighter. Her disposition is better than any dog we have ever had. She is spoiled rotten by the way....and those people that told us "oh after you have a baby you won't treat the dog the same or give her the same amount of attention....have never met Izzy. She is so adorable that she commands attention. We just love her to death. We are planning a celebration for her 1st birthday in January (it is the 11th right?). Thank you so much for bringing her into our family. Hope you have many blessings in the New Year.

I thought I would send you up to date pictures of the Sadie Sue and Gracie. They are doing great. I still havent had Gracie fixed yet. She looks a lot like her mom doing except she has more white and she is still little. E-mail me back and let me know how you all are doing. How are the kids doing? How are the puppies doing? Our puppy "Jazzie Girl" we got from you last summer is the new "love of our lives". After losing Gizmo, we didn't think any dog could take her place, but we love Jazzie just as much although we will always miss our Gizmo. Obie is doing great! He is everything we ever dreamed of and more! He is
now 9 months old and quite wonderful. I will send a picture in the mail

Our vet thinks Obie is beautiful and wondered why we had him neutered! He
is happy and loving life and the prince at our house! Chewy and Obie now
get along well-it was difficult in the first weeks but they both walk 3
miles a day with me now and curl up on the same sofa together. I can't
imagine life without Obie!
I hope your family is doing well -we had a very nice Christmas-interesting
with the kids being 17, 19 & 21. Time goes so fast!

Hi! I have been meaning to write you a note for so long! I can't believe that it's been four months since we got Sacha!
Hope everything is going well with you. We are all doing fine. I just have to tell you what a good boy Sacha is! He is absolutely perfect! I love him so much - he and I are really tight! He is unbelievably attached to me. Every morning we get up and I take him outside, then we come in and he has his treat. He has a fabulous appetite. He will play for just a few minutes, and then he always has to fuss at me a little bit, so that I know it is time for a daily "he gets in my lap so I can love on him"! Isn't that so cute! He is very sweet.
Everywhere we go, people adore him. He just gets so excited and wags his little tail. I love his personality.. It's so interesting, it is so different from Javi. Javi is very relaxed - Sacha is very hyper and he lets you know what he's thinking!

We had a very nice ride home. Bandit slept most of the way and we  stopped twice for him to romp on the grass. The minute we came home he found his new crate and water bottle! I was so impressed. Bud is adapting well. He is being quite shy actually and Bandit is asleep on  the floor and Bud laid down about 5 feet away and keep checking on him. Life here feels like it was meant to be and that is because you helped raise such a wonderful and smart puppy! Well Steve has just turned one year old. I cannot tell you how much of a joy he has been to our family. He is the sweetest and most loving dog that I have ever been around. He is such a pleasure. My husband has always been a large breed dog lover but Steve is now his pride and joy. In his eyes, Steve does no wrong

Steve has never met a stranger and I have never seen a happier dog. He loves to ride in cars, take walks and just be with you. He sleeps in our bed on his back every night and lays on the tile floor in the bathroom while we get ready for the day. He goes on trips with us and is a great traveler. The most surprising thing about him is that he loves to swim. If you are in a pool so is he.

He was a very easy dog to raise from puppyhood. He took to crate training pretty early in his puppyhood and was so easy to train. Until Steve, I always thought the Shih Tzu had small bladders and hard to train. Boy was I wrong. He has a wonderful laid back disposition. Our two old male German Shepherds love him and his groomer raves about what a wonderful dog he is.

I am sending you some pictures taken this week.

Hello Regina,

Here are some pictures of our sweet, precious Ming! I always think the
pictures aren't good enough to send to show you what a perfect, wonderful,
beautiful boy he is. Either he needs grooming, or he's just been groomed
and it too short! (Right now, he's past due, he goes next week!) Boy is it
hard to find the perfect groomer. There seems to be a lot of turn over with
groomers. I am always getting compliments on how beautiful he is. He is a
healthy, spunky, friendly, nosey boy who loves everyone he meets. Matthew,
Campbell and I am just in love with him. He has been the perfect addition
to our family. House breaking has been ok over the past year, although he
still doesn't always "tell" me when he needs to go out. If I don't
recognize that it is about that time, and take him out, well he'll find a
spot inside! But, to his credit, sometimes he does "tell" me. I think it is
difficult because we are upstairs most of the time, and of course the door
is downstairs. He likes to stay in the room where we are, so if he gets
missing, you better go find him, because he probably needs to go out!

Thank you so much for the quality breeding you have done to make these
perfect, beautiful puppies! I know our friends, The Wood's, will enjoy
theirs as much as us. I can hardly wait to meet theirs!!

I hope this email finds you doing well. Bud, Bandit and I are doing great. Bandit has completed 2 puppy training classes and is excelling each week. He is such a joy and he and Bud are getting along much better. A local breeder saw him at puppy class and commented on how beautiful he is and wanted to hug him. He has 21 shih tzus living in his house with he and his wife and daughter. Obviously a love of the breed. Bandit has learned to fetch, drop it, sit, and down. He is now learning leash walking and prances like he owns the world. He is such a joy and a wonderful addition to my family. A letter from Buster:

To my first mommy,
I am doing well in my new home and with my new family. I am holding my pee-pee till I make it to the puppy pad (with a little help). Now, my boo-boo is another story. I would really like to do it in the bedroom but when they see me running down the hallway, they grab me up and put me on a pad and I make them happy and go on my way. Funny how just doing a normal bodily function makes them say, GOOD BOY! So easy to please.
Now, I have a secret to tell you.........hmmmm......Grandma asked the vet last week about something I was doing to that big stuffed Lamb we call Annie. uhhhh... they said humping and the vet said it was very, very rare (with raised eyebrows). I think you need to check any girl puppies around the house to see if they are with-puppy. hahahhahahahahaha
Otherwise, I just wanted to let you know that I am good. I still have trouble breathing and these people hover over me constantly.. The cool thing is that I get to go on the big bed everyday,2-3 times a day to take naps with the big people, watching me. I
sleep great in my pen with my lamb Annie. I wake up sometimes during the night but I don't squeal or bark, I just look around and go back to sleep. The other day I chased a big cat down the hallway and BACK! Boy, I scared her and she ran!
Anyway, Just a little note to say Hi and thanks for helping me get a good start.

Bandit is growing so fast and the house training is coming along great. We have our first puppy training class on Thursday night. He will be a star. He is such a quick study. He already knows how to fetch, drop, and sit. We are also taking daily morning walks on the leash. He is already learning to heal at only 12 weeks. What a wonderful puppy! Hello Regina,

It was a pleasure meeting you and your family too! I apologize for taking so much of your time when visiting you at home on Thursday. We had such a good time with you, Julia and Tye. They are really well mannered and respectful kids. You and your husband are doing a wonderful job raising them. I don't think parents get enough praise for being good parents. Peggy and I were so impressed with your family including all the furry babies. You are really blessed to be surrounded by so much love.
Proudly is doing great adjusting to us and his new home. Last evening around 7:30 pm, I walked him in front of the house and two of my neighbors came over to see him. Within a few minutes, their husbands and children came over and crashed on our driveway and grass. At one point, there were about 15 adults and children. Everybody wanted their turn to hold Proudy. It is amazing to see how much he takes to everyone and loves the attention. We all hung out in the front yard until almost dark. Proudly is a big hit with all our neighbors!
This morning I bathed Proudy and he loved getting a bath. He was so good and still even when I dried him with the hair dryer! I have never seen a dog who was so still while being bathed. I could tell from his behavior, he remembers being groomed during his "show" days. We have a lot of bandanas and matching bows so I dressed him up in a royal blue bow and bandana with little pups on it. He is too cute!
We are taking it easy at home and spending time with Proudy and Chelsea. By the way, Chelsea is warming up to him today and they act like they like each other. Maybe, this energetic guy will perk her up and inspire her to live a while longer. We sure hope so.
I will email you next week with a follow-up and maybe a new photo or two of Proudy and Chelsea

Just thought I would check in and let you know that Cosmo is doing great. He’s about 6 ½ pounds and as cute as ever. Even the vet said at his last check-up “I’ve seen a lot of Shih Tzu’s in my day, but there’s something special about this one!” Now if that doesn’t tell you something!!!

The kids keep talking about Maybelline and Newt. They actually have been bugging me to take them back to your place to visit with Cosmo. What do you think about that? Just let me know. I’ve attached a few pictures of Cosmo – not the best ones I’m afraid, but they do show his favorite places for hanging out – my desk and on the air vet.

My neighbors here at college own Shih Tzu's as well, but they all pale in comparison to Sammy and the others you have sold. Regina - Cuddles is just wonderful. She slept all the way home and when we sat her down in the kitchen - she realized it was a strange place. She just stood there for about 30 seconds and then she started running around checking everything out. She is way more beautiful and precious than I expected. She must be the most beautiful dog ever. When Cam's in the house she chases around after him just as fast as she can - the rest of the time she is right with me. She already has a routine - She will sleep, play, eat, do her business - then sleep again. Automatically when she wanted to sleep she jumped into her pink bed as if she had been doing it forever. I thought she would be sad but not yet - she seems so happy. What a wonderful job you do with your animals. She alreay knows her name - you must have been calling them by their names for a while. That's a really neat thing to do - I just love you for that. She loves her pink bed, and she has a little pink collar and lead. She also has toothpaste and a tooth brush (poultry flavored). She is so tiny - I'm so careful. She won't be hard to potty train - she has only missed the paper a couple of times. She is SO smart. Thank you so much. You are a wonder. I don't know how you do all you do - but you make it look like a piece of cake. Thanks again

Bandit graduated from puppy school and we are now in intermediate training. Bud and I went to a park for the Huntsville Obedience Training Club Dog Fair on Saturday and entered the parade. He strutted his stuff. I couldn't take Bandit because he had his "special procedure" that week and could not get in public for 10 days. The week before we both visited my dad at Wheeler State Park and spent the day together. These guys loved it. Life is good!

Left your house around noonHad a little discussion as to who was going to sit where until we came to the stop sign out front. From then on it was sound asleep all the way to Erie. We made several potty stops, snack, drink, walk around the rest area and then back on the road. No crying, whining, car sickness just potty stops, sleep and drive. So perfect of a day, I drove straight through without sleep stops
Got home 230 am Monday. Peaches met Bonnie my wife and decided it was play time until 430 am. After discussion with Bonnie we had to do a name change to Lilly. Try saying Peaches sit. It sounds like you have a mouth full of mush – nothing comes out. So now it will be Lilly the Perfect Baby. Didn’t cry, whine or anything. Got in her bed and we put her bed in our bed and it was sleep time all night. For the most part it has been a perfect week .
I have a phone picture of her on point with her first pheasant – needs a little work on the point stuff though. However, she is killing every leaf in the back yard. I was helping my brother in law out at his Antique store in our Mall from noon to 6 Monday through sat. Buying gold, silver, jewelry, sales. Working around my shooting schedule and getting paid cash! Kind of nice retirement job!. I told him that I will be leaving my employment because I can’t leave the dog with Bonnie. Neither one of them can go up or down the 2 steps from the back yard to the family room from outside in and vice versa. So, Lilly now has a job at the Antique Gallery in the 175 store Millcreek Mall from noon to 6 mon through sat. She is the security guard for the Antique Gallery. No pay but free lunch.
Obviously when she is awake she has made many new friends. She met a ballet dancer from Israel today – doesn’t sell too much but makes lots of friends.. Has only made 2 accidents in the house and none in the store since Sunday not too bad for a baby!. She goes everywhere with me and Bonnie when we are together and me only when Bonnie can’t go with us.
Had to take my mother to the dr yesterday morning before work – yes, Lilly went in the Doctor’s office. Nasty nurse said I can’t bring my dog into the dr’s office! I told her the only people in the office were sick and the baby wasn’t! Lilly stayed with me while the dr checked my mother and then came out to say hi to lilly! My mother who is 89 is leaving for Netherland’s 12/9 for 6 mos.  [continued to right]

We forgot about about having Lilly with us and spent 4 hours last nite changing hotel reservations to pet friendly. Lilly and Bonnie and I will be leaving wed for Florida for 2 weeks. I said to my wife Bonnie I hope you don’t get carsick sitting in the back of the van because Lilly sits up front – that’s where she is used to sitting
We have the perfect baby!

THAT WASN’T FUN – I DON’T SWIM VERY WELL. MY DAD GRABBED ME SO FAST MY HEAD DIDN’T EVEN GET WET! THAT SCARED ME. I DON’T LIKE TO SWIM. I LIKE TO SLEEP, EAT, PLAY AND GO POTTY. MY DAD SAYS I NEED TO WORK SOME MORE ON THE WHEN AND WHERE WE TAKE A WALK EVERY NITE .

IT’S COLD OUTSIDE. MY BED FEELS REALLY GOOD WHEN WE COME BACK IN. I STILL GO TO WORK EVERY DAY – I SLEEP WHILE MY DAD WORKS. I GET PETTED A LOT AT WORK EVERYBODY COMES TO SEE ME. WHEN I PLAY WITH MY DAD, WE PLAY GET THE BIRD. I HAVE A DUCK. HE THROWS IT AND I BRING IT BACK TO HIM ALL THE TIME AND THEN HE THROWS IT AGAIN. IT’S FUN! I CAN SIT WHEN I’M TOLD TO SIT. I KNOW MY NAME AND I COME WHEN I AM CALLED THAT’S FUN TOO. I GET A TREAT EVERY TIME I GO POTTY OUTSIDE AND OR CRY AT THE DOOR TO GO OUT. SOMETIMES I JUST LIKE TO CRY AT THE DOOR SO I GO OUTSIDE AND GET A TREAT. MY DAD SAYS I AM PERFECT. I AM GOING HUNTING WITH MY DAD IN NEBRASKA AND KANSAS. WE ARE LEAVING 11/8 FOR 2 WEEKS. WHAT IS HUNTING?. MY DAD GOT A CAMERA TO TAKE PICTURES OF ME, BUT HE FORGOT BATTERIES SO NO PICTURES OF ME YET. I FELL OUT OF BED A COUPLE OF TIMES – IT SCARED ME. NOW I HAVE TO SLEEP IN THE MIDDLE. I GO EVERYWHERE WITH MY DAD. I HAVE BEEN TO THE BANK AND GOT TREATS FROM THE MANAGER, THE BARBER SHOP, THE DELI, THE GAS STATION, 2 DIFFERENT GUN CLUBS. EVERYBODY LIKES ME – ITS FUN. LEIGHAN IS GETTING MARRIED ON FEB 28 IN KEY WEST FLA. I HAVE TO GO THERE. I AM PLANNING ON SEEING YOU ON OUR WAY HOME, I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN LATER . I AM SOO HAPPY. I THINK I CAN USE A LITTLE TREAT NOW SO I WILL CRY TO GO OUTSIDE. I WILL SEND YOU ANOTHER EMAIL LATER.

Hope all is well in Douglasville! Wanted to share a pretty picture of Kobi and let you know all continues to go great! He is so beloved by all! He's 5 months now and weighs 7.6 lbs. He just loves people and wants everyone's attention.

Regina, sorry I haven't got back in touch with you since I took Teddy home in July. But after looking at your web site I can see you have been pretty busy. My husband won the battle and Teddy is now called PJ. I will be sending you pictures soon. He is nothing short of spectacular.He's just beautiful. All the concern about getting a boy puppy was totaly unnecessary. What a love bug! PJ is so happy all the time! He runs around with a big smile on his face an is just a big goof. PJ and my 2 yr old female Shihtzu Callie are inseperable they are crazy about each other.But the greatest news is that he is totaly in love with his mommy! If he loved me anymore I'm sure his tiny little heart would burst.He was no harder to house train than a girl and I think boys are definatly more affectionate than females.My little female is a delight but she has always gravitated more toward my husband and the men in the house. I am so happy with my beautiful baby boy. He's a dream come true.I'll be in touch Lots of love Holly

Looks Like we might have to start shoveling the backyard for Lilly. As you can see she really hates the snow, it’s another place to play. We have about 4” on the ground, it’s tough when you have 2” legs. The green eyes are a result of the devil! She is a devil in a cute disguise. We leave Wed or Thurs this week – have to check on Kan/Neb weather.

A Letter from Lilly:

Hi Gina

It’s me Lilly! My dad got a camera and here’s some pictures of me. Not too good but they will get better. If you look real hard at my chest you can see my real necklace. It’s a peridot (my birthstone) on a real gold chain. My dad calls it my bling. I got groomed yesterday so I look real pretty. I growled at the lady because I didn’t like the brushing. She laughed at my growl and called my mom at home. They both laughed and then called my dad at work in the mall. He got mad because they were making fun of me. No accidents in the house this Week! I’m real proud! I cry at the door and go outside all by myself and come back in all by myself. Then I get a treat. I like treats. Sometimes I cry at the door, go outside then come back in just to get a treat. I went to the doctors. I don’t like him either! I got a shot and some hair pulled out of my inside ears. That hurt. I got some stuff to put in my ears. I don’t like that either, it makes me hear funny. I weigh more than 5 lbs now. I like to grow so I can be a big girl. I go to work every day. Some people who work near my dad just come in to see me. He gets mad because they don’t buy anything – just see me. I go shooting every Tuesday with dad. I really like that. I go in the clubhouse while he tries to shoot clay targets. Everybody pets me and holds me and gives me treats. I have my own container that says Lilly’s treats! That way I don’t get any people food; only Lilly food. When the shooting is all over I get to walk all around with my dad. He doesn’t use the leash too much anymore because I walk right beside him real close. When we go for walks at my house I have to use the leash because sometimes I forget to walk real close. I have my own medical insurance. Dad says it’s good for me – just in case. I like to play get the bird with my duck toy. I run after it, bring it back, drop it, sit and wait for my mom or dad to throw it again. Then I do it again. Lots of times. Sometimes I have to remind them its time to play so I bring the duck to them to throw it for me. It’s fun. I like to play. I found leaves in the back yard. We have lots. I like to run through them and chase them when the wind blows.

We do that every day! We take 2 long walks every day. One in the morning and one in the night time. Then I go outside to make potty, have my snack and go to bed. I sleep all nite until about 730 in the morning. If my mom or dad gets up in the night time to go potty I have to go out to go potty, too. Just like them! It’s late and I have to go outside. I hope to see you in march when we come back from Florida. Tell everyone I said hi.
